Yes. Your data is never shared with anyone. daftei staff see only
anonymised technical logs — never your personal memories. We will
never sell your data, build ad profiles, or use your content to
train AI models for others.
Add the daftei extension to Chrome and open its panel during a
Google Meet call. It captures the meeting, detects who's on the
call, and transcribes the conversation. When you stop, daftei
writes a clean summary and a list of action items straight into
your vault — encrypted and searchable forever.
Your vault content is retained. You'll have 90 days to reduce your
vault below the 5 GB Free limit or reactivate Pro. We'll notify
you clearly before taking any action on content that exceeds the
limit. You won't lose anything without fair warning.
Yes, anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account. After
confirmation, a 30-day pending deletion window begins — you can
cancel within this window. After Day 30, all data is permanently
and irreversibly erased from all our systems. Backups are purged
within a further 90 days.
Refunds are issued for billing errors, critical service failures
lasting 72+ consecutive hours, or as required by law. App Store
and Google Play purchases follow the respective store's refund
policy. Email hello@daftei.com within 14 days of a charge you
believe warrants a refund.
The AI Vault Assistant analyses your photos, voice notes, PDF
documents, and entries exclusively to deliver features to you —
semantic search, document Q&A, transcription, face
recognition, and auto-curation. It does not contribute your
content to shared AI training datasets, build advertising
profiles, or share insights with anyone else. You can opt specific
albums out of AI analysis in Privacy Settings.
Photos, videos, voice notes, and PDF documents — all in one
Journey. Record voice notes directly in-app for automatic AI
transcription, or upload PDFs like tickets, insurance policies,
certificates, and contracts. The AI can read your PDFs and answer
questions from them in natural language, right alongside your
memories.
Yes. daftei is available globally on iOS and Android, in English,
Hindi, and Mandarin Chinese. Data is never shared with third
parties. daftei complies with GDPR for EEA users and CCPA for
California residents.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the
EEA). Parents or legal guardians may submit a deletion request for
a minor's account by emailing hello@daftei.com.
